Drill the Skills
The troops will conduct many exercises and drill their skills during their time there including hostage rescue and how to take out illegal armed groups.
The Mi-8AMTSh helicopter, also known as the Terminator is on hand to join in. The Mi-8AMTSh takes its armament from the Mi-24 gunship. They not only move equipment and troops but support them in the field with 2 machine guns, pods with 23mm twin-barrel cannons and missiles. You don’t want to be the enemy with that thing breathing down your neck because it won’t be playing nicely.
In recent weeks Russia has been stepping up the numbers of troops and training exercises that have been occurring. This included Russian Airborne Troops arriving in Minsk for a joint training exercise with Belarus.
